I tried to use the Image Manager while posting but ended up losing what I had typed, so gave up.

Hi Karen,

The Image Manager doesn't appear to be working very well right now.  In the interim I would suggest signing up for an image hosting service like ImageShack (there are a bunch of other ones available, which are free).  Most image hosting sites will provide you a URL for your image, and and perhaps an HTML snippet that you can use in your post.
