The Author-it publishing to PowerPoint extension (beta) is now available! Go to the DevHub downloads page to download the PowerPoint package. Be sure to read the documentation included in the package before you get started!

What are you plans for this? I have installed this and it is working pretty well, but there are irritations. Is there any way that powerpoint animations be incorporated for instance? The presentations I have imported so far make quite extensive use of animations and having to work on them after publishing from Author-it is a bit of a pain.
Also does anyone have any plans to do a powerpoint import? Currently it's not easy bringing preesentations in.

Hi David,
The plan for the first release is start with the most commonly requested feature: using Author-it as the single source for PowerPoint presentations, using external PowerPoint files as templates. Controlling functions like animations from within Author-it is a future possibility but wasn't part of the initial release.

We are looking into translating our product powerpoint presentations and managing this through Author-it. Do you know if the powerpoint package (in DevHub downloads) will be made available for AIT 5.5?
