Author-it SDK Beta Available Now

For some time we've been working on a better way for developers to integrate with content stored in Author-it. Our main goal with this project was to give consistent access to content across a wide variety of platforms and languages. It shouldn't matter if you're writing business systems with Java or web applications with Ruby, the Author-it SDK will be the way to go.
Contents of the SDK
The Author-it SDK contains technical documentation, code samples and installers for the software components. In short: everything you need to get started integrating with Author-it content.
Development Environments
All modern development environments should be capable of accessing Author-it content using the Author-it API Server with one of it's endpoints:
- JSON: For modern Ajax web applications, JSON is the access method of choice.
- SOAP: The standard for interoperability in business systems.
In addition, to the API Server, you can also access API method directly in Microsoft .NET applications by referencing the supplied assembly. You will need a computer running Microsoft Windows with the .NET Framework 3.5+ to install the API Server.
Support
The Author-it SDK is supported through the Author-it DevHub Forum. Members of our development team will be regularly participating in the forum
